WHAT WE DO

Founded a decade ago, the Randy Jones Foundation is dedicated to supporting the children of San Diego's military families through athletics, mentorship, and life-enriching experiences. The Foundation provides multi-year athletic grants, hosts military families at VIP Padres games with on-field access, and organizes annual deep-sea fishing trips that bring young people together with family. Through these programs, the Foundation carries forward Randy Jones's belief that sports builds character, creates opportunity, and changes lives, especially for the children of those who serve our nation.

YOUTH ATHLETIC GRANTS

The Randy Jones Foundation gives military kids the chance to turn their athletic talent and academic commitment into a college scholarship. We provide grants that cover the essentials needed to thrive in their sports program while continuing with their academic excellence — resources that open doors they might not otherwise reach. With a 3.0 GPA requirement and a focus on both athletic and academic growth, our recipients gain the skills, stability, and confidence to compete for university scholarships. It’s about leveling the playing field today so they can win big tomorrow..
